Who operates Social Circles

Social Circles is operated by the Social Circles team in the United States. Questions or privacy requests may be sent to hello@socialcircles.app.

Who the service is for

Social Circles accounts are for adults, parents, and legal guardians. Children do not create accounts or submit information directly. Parents control the child and family information they choose to add.

Information we collect

• Adult account and authentication information, such as name and email.
• Parent-created family profiles and child first names, nicknames, or age ranges.
• Private Circles, invitations, gatherings, playtimes, RSVPs, messages, and memories.
• Information a family chooses to share with an approved host or Circle.
• Security and service data, including timestamps, device or network signals, and audit records.

How we use information

• Provide and secure family accounts, invitations, and private Circles.
• Process RSVPs and reveal protected event details only after authorization.
• Support family connections, playtimes, memories, safety, and moderation.
• Prevent abuse, investigate errors, and improve the early-access service.

When information is shared

We share information only with the families, hosts, and Circles a parent authorizes; with service providers needed to operate the platform; when required by law; or to protect safety and the integrity of the service. We do not make child profiles public.

Protected event and family information

Exact addresses, guest passes, private RSVP responses, unrelated Circles, and private family content are restricted by account and relationship permissions. Invitation preview metadata is generic and does not identify the event, child, host family, or neighborhood.

Parent choices and requests

Parents may update or remove family information, leave a Circle, revoke invitations they control, and request access, correction, export, or deletion of account data. Submit a request through hello@socialcircles.app. We may need to verify the requesting adult before acting.

Retention and security

We retain information only as reasonably needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect safety. We use access controls, encryption for protected event details, rate limits, and audit records, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Authentication and service providers

Social Circles relies on authentication, hosting, storage, and other infrastructure providers. Those providers process limited information on our behalf under their own security and privacy obligations.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the early-access service changes. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when a change materially affects family information.
